This is the advice that I have received to keep my goals in front and in focus.

It sounds a bit trivial, but having begun a 100 Day Goal exercise, just eight days in, stating my goal every day and reflecting on the fact that I have said it eight times so far - is keeping me on track.

Then I list what steps (microactions) I have done in the day to achieve my goal, followed by what progress I have made that day, and since I started.

Works for me.

As I say, it sounds a little trivial. But try it, before you dismiss it.

It doesn't matter how few or how many microactions, as long as you do one.

Today, my microaction is that I rode my bike to and from uni, and that I stuck to my planned food for the day.
