Ready, set, restart

So I have totally been slacking last week. I was in a pretty bad accident (no one was injured, just a few bumps and bruises), we had my niece's birthday party (hello cake, goodbye calorie count) and I really just wasn't feeling it. The result was a half pound gain.
I knew weighing in this morning that I wasn't going to see a lose and was actually rather relieved to see just a half pound gain. Now it's time to get back to it. This is probably the third time in the less than a month I've said that, but I'm not giving up. I'm trying to change for the better and in life there are always going to be cake and bad days and sore days. It's just something I live with or I miss out. I'm not going to miss out on life.
So once again, I'm meal prepping and calorie counting and gym hitting. If it takes me 100 times of saying I messed up, then 101 times I'm going to say, but now I'm doing it again.
