Another Glitch in the Mix and Thinking Life Over

Saturday, May 13, 2017

I almost forgot to say that I only have a few more classes and then I am done with college. That leaves another thing I have to pay off and with my finances I do not how that will work or how I will manage to get published even when you have to spend so much money to get copies of magazines and stuff from editors just to get started.

With everything that has happened to us I am just overwhelmed. I think to myself what do we have left now. Since moving here I have lost my job, friends, and our dog. I have practically no retirement money left; all was used up just to live on. My daughter wants another dog but I cannot spend over 100 for one when bills will be piling up. Right now everyone else's lives look better than mine. I have been given lemons with no way to make lemonade. I am at my lowest right now.

I realize your ultimate goal is to be a published author but is there something relate that to writing that your could do. Could you become a proof reader? I know we all have dreams of what we want to do but God's plan for our lives is often different than ours. We have to be open to all possibilities. My favorite saying is when I think I have life planned out God smiles and then laughs and sets me on a totally different path. One of the themes our pastor has been giving sermons on is that we have to be open to what God wants us to do and making sure we are taking the time to pray over his plans for our lives versus ours. I know you are struggling with your faith at present and will be praying that you can find your way back to having faith in what God has in store for you.

Wishing you a Happy Mother's Day.
