Body Aches, Woman on the Van, and the Volunteer Banquet

Tuesday, May 16, 2017

I am so tired of my body giving me trouble. Here I sit again and my back and shoulder aches again. No call from the gastroenterologist office yet and I was given gabapentin for sleeping now. I tried it last night and it did not work. The family doctor put me on the lowest dosage of 100 milligrams; not strong enough. I might have to take 2 pills instead tonight.

The woman on the van is really starting to get me mad again. She was pushing for me to go to the free lunch thing again at Cellcom in the summer. I went there last year and was not impressed. all they give you is a small sub with a little turkey or ham in and a piece of lettuce. Then you pick up packets of mustard or mayo and water or pop and a bag of chips and a small ice cream cup. It is not a very good meal for someone who suffers with stomach problems.

Also, she mentioned today that my former friend from the Pentecostal church was going to bring Charlotte from the Peshtigo meal site to the banquet. I am not sure I want to go then if she is going to be there, Cause the other woman will try and coerce me to sit by her. I am thinking of canceling out on it.

Do what makes you comfortable. Personally, that meal doesn't sound that appetizing to me. I planned to opt out of the meal that normally comes with the tour of homes before I learned that my friend will be out of town anyway. I suspect I can see appealing homes on the Houzz web site or on some of the shows on AWE channel.
If I can't sleep, I put on a CD of a sermon or the Bible. I rarely get too far into the CD before I'm dozing. emoticon emoticon

If you don't want to go, don't . Life is too short to be around negativity.
Hope you slept better and feel better today.

One day at a time. Praying for comfort and peace.
