Last Day

Friday, June 02, 2017

So glad today was the last day of school. The PTO had a lunch ready for us. It was small sandwiches. It was nice. I think all of us were expecting a little something more, but we all enjoyed having the fellowship with each other, since there are several of us not coming back. It was kind of sad. I really enjoyed teaching there. I'm looking forward to a new adventure though.

I have lost 2 lbs. I was really shocked, but excited. I have been so tired of seeing the scale going up. It is definitely important to write down what you eat. I think I found myself eating more than I thought I was. Even though I've missed a day, it really does pay to write it down. I just need to keep it up. emoticon Having a fitbit helps too.

Good for you! Tracking food keeps you accountable and doesn't let you forget anything.

I have been on both sides of a PTO/PTA. When I was involved on the parent side, we went over and above to support the staff. Besides wanting more than sandwiches, do you remember your organization do anything noteworthy during the year? Think on the good things (re: Philippians 4:8). emoticon

Happy end of school. Our kids will be in school a little longer to make up for all the snow days this winter.

Today was my last day of school too. I will be going back. I am only 59. That is nice that your PTO did something. Our PTO does almost nothing. They did bring in sandwiches for teacher appreciation day. I am not a teacher, but a paraprofessional. I work with Life Skills kids at our Intermediated 4-6.
That's great that you lost 2 lbs. If I lose anything more than a pound to me that is a bonus.
I'm going to try the yogurt and the English Muffin. I really have to figure out what to eat for breakfast. I don't mind being a little hungry, but I am just starving and it's miserable.
