I really need to start timing my packing time and counting it as a workout. I really got sweaty today and still have more to do! Packed all the linen and am working on the non-essential, non-breakable cooking items. I packed all of my clothes except a few and of course my workout clothes are out.
I had another super busy day Friday, was out from 9:30 AM till 4 PM. Wowzers was I tired afterwards! But I discovered that I can do it. I just get extremely tired afterwards and as I work out and build up my stamina, I'll get to where I can handle it better. Just going to take some work. Moving will help with that. Those are going to be some LONG days!
1 week till we find out what kind of budget we have for the new house and then start looking for a house for realz. WOW, seems like it was 3 weeks ago just yesterday! I wanted to have more packed by now! Eek! I can't wait though, all these houses we've been looking at online and we've found some more that we really love and I just can't wait to know which one will be ours and move in! Of course, there is a lot that needs to be done between now and then and I'm hoping to pick up the pace and get it done!
Worked out for 15 minutes this morning and was just exhausted. It's saturday so that is okay, my goal is during the weekdays to get 30 minutes (well, technically 5 days a week so could be any day...). I am guessing since I was so wore out yesterday that I needed a day today. I may workout another 15 minutes later, I was listening to a sermon from the church we are going to visit tomorrow and it's on Roman's 8 my all time favorite book/chapter from the New Testament, so I do want to listen to the rest of it and I had it on the treadmill. We'll see if I have the energy.
After having a long talk with my oldest DD, we went to the store and picked up a bunch of journals. We are doing self confidence journals. Everyday we have a topic to write about. I'm making this up as I go. I found a bunch of different websites with writing prompts for "self-love" and self confidence, so I'm just picking a new topic every day. Today I'm going to sit and write out the whole week or two week's worth so I don't have to be searching last minute it will be in my journal. I'm doing it with both of my girls. I figure everyone could learn to love themselves a little better, so why not? It is a learning experience for sure and has already brought on several conversations that needed to be had and I didn't even know it. If you have young tweens or even teens I highly suggest this exercise for you to do together and share with them. It's already brought us closer.
We are low financially again. What a bummer. But that is what it takes I guess. We got everything we need food-wise, though I'm sure I'll be wanting more veggies in a week or so. We'll deal. I think we have everything we need for packing for now as well. FIL is going to bring us 15 more of the smaller ones and I'm going to check at the grocery store and such. We'll get boxes somehow. I was hoping we would manage this week better than the last because we are going to need lots of gas money to go looking at houses. And dropping off donations. And picking up boxes. And all kinds of things. But food we got covered. DH even picked up enough lemon juice for my lemon water for two weeks.
Okay, I'm off to go figure out what I can do next with the cleaning and packing and get busy!!
