Orangetheory: 50th class!

Five months. I've been going four days a week since summer school started. This week I'm upping it to 5 classes a week. This week is "Peak Performance Week"...a different challenge each day designed to set a baseline for future progress. I guess they do it every six months. Today's challenge was the 500 meter row. I did it in 1:55. I was proud of myself for doing it in under two minutes. I was nowhere near the best in the class (and that's including the 40 and over crowd), but I did it. The next one I'm doing is the bodyweight challenge. that ought to be downright embarrassing; I still can't do a pushup very well.
I had my first appointment with my new doctor this afternoon. They drew some blood to re-test my thyroid, and also to test for Vitamin D deficiency, A1C levels, and cholesterol. I'm hoping that they can find a solution to my dilemma. She also wanted to start me on hormone replacement therapy. She said it would cure all my menopause symptoms, which would be nice, but those things were almost 80 bucks and the side effects include dementia, heart attack, stroke, cancer and pancreatitis. Yeah...no. I think I'd rather have the hot flashes.
It's just so frustrating. I joined SP in 2013. And I've been exercising, eating clean, and logging everything. Put on 26 pounds since I joined. I don't think it's supposed to work like that. Hopefully the answer is in those blood tests.
