life update

so much going on...
Ashlea had a meltdown this morning after her comm hab person showed up to get her. he was taking her to his friend's farm so she could see "her" animals. she did want to see them, but they are within a gate now so it's harder to get to them especially the goats and so on. well the crying ensued for 25 minutes, and honestly I don't think she is done. oh boy!

saw the hip doctor. yeah! with surgery, IF it works, he can get me to 50- 60% better for 2-3 years. holy crap! so, at most 60% for at most 3 years. please somebody tell me the point. and that's IF it works.

laid off till aug 28th which I am every summer. usually get unemployment. this year I don't qualify. wait for it..short $78. yep. they go by 4 quarters but not the one I earned the most in. I applied for reconsideration using that quarter. fingers crossed.

Ashlea goes in for a colonoscopy and endoscopy next Thursday for her life-long constipation problem and recent reflux problem. next Tuesday I have my mammo and bone density. so next week is full of fun!
of and my shoulder doc is Monday next week too. good times.

I have a good friend who was sexually assaulted by her boyfriend yesterday morning. I spoke to her last night. she has been going through verbal abuse for years. he told her it was not rape b/c they are together and he can have it whenever he wants it. I told her absolutely not. I've been trying to tell her to leave him. well, when I saw her fb post yesterday about moving to Virginia, I knew something happened. i'm so sad that it took something so brutal for her to finally leave. please pray for her. I've been where she is and it is a horrible place to be. i'm sorry to leave my blog on such an awful note, but she needs prayers. her name is Terry. thank you.
