As a senior I have become more aware of this dreaded bone disease. Today in the Senior Lifestyle section here on Spark People I read some good ideas for insuring we don't have to let his happen to us.
Exercising was listed and was no surprise. It is nice to visit he Y and see more seniors there than any other group.
Eating to save our bone mass and bone density is another good way to help avoid Osteoporosis.
Seniors , don't let this happen. Bones with holes in them are not what we want to deal with. I plan to eat right and exercise for protection from Osteoporosis.
