Our bones come together at our joints. The end of each bone is covered by a layer of cartilage that glides smoothly and acts a a shock absorber. Tough bands of tissue (ligaments) hold your joints together.
The body has several types of joints for example:
Hinge joints - in the ends of your fingers or your knees. They allow one kind of back and forth movement.
Ball and socket joints- in your shoulder or hip. They allow a wide range of movement.
When God created man he certainly created a masterpiece. If only we could be wise enough to care for it properly!
