So many ways to lose weight it can be a little confusing, OK a lot confusing! Even here on SP I see people using plans other than the suggested good nutrition plan SP provides for us to follow.

At least one of the articles I just read here suggests we are all a little different and no one plan is right for all. The article suggest if you are not losing weight after following the same plan for 12 weeks it is time to try something different. We may just need to tweak our plan just a bit.

CHANGE something. Maybe you need to eat more carbs and lower fat intake, up the cardio session, add more strength training, get more rest . The great thing is there are so many ways to experiment with changes that may make the losing game easier.

We are in the right place to track these changes and be able to see what works for us. I, for one, believe we are able to make the right decisions based on what we learn from changing things.

    Sparks is so diverse, which is obvious with hundreds of different teams and scores of different challenges to join.
    The diet plans are many because for one thing members have different needs. There are teams for vegetarians and vegans, Clean eating, a team for picky eaters, gourmet cooking, food allergies, low-sodium, green smoothies, and on and on. I am glad there is such a variety: just like going to the mall; there are lots of stores for me to choose from... We just have to find which of the teams work for us with our individual needs.

    Sometimes it is about what works for us. Me - I'm not a big meat eater. I prefer veggies - love my peas and green beans so I prefer to eat more veggies and less meat. Hubby is the same. I have relatives that eat much more meat and more low carb veggies and that is what works for them. And it's all about the taste buds as well. I prefer chicken over red meat for no other reason than I like chicken! I've never used the spark meal plans cos I'm in Australia and what is cheap over in the US is expensive here so I have to take into consideration the food budget etc. Experimenting is a good. It's not a race so try different things to see what works for you. Here at Sparkpeople we turn into good jugglers!
