Restaurant Diet unsuccessful

I knew that two lunches out in a row (Red Lobster and Applebee's) would affect my weigh in this morning, and it did. Happy that I only gained 3/4; friends wanted me to go to lunch after meeting, made excuses, just had to stop the string and get some trackable food in me. So far it's been a pretty good day. My new Fitbit is registering well, 13k+, a little short of my 15k but too many meetings today and just ran out of time. In my small weight loss group today we talked about food plans that had worked for us in the past, as well as tips for keeping on track now. They pretty much agreed with ones we've heard about on Spark; not depriving oneself, not eating after dinner; I obviously didn't deprive myself of too much this past week, am trying to put the no eating after dinner into practice so I have at least a full 12-14 hour fast going. Was reminded today that nearly half of September is in the books, and I am still not close to those initial September goals. I can still do this but the restaurant diet of this past week will have to change.
