New fave smoothie - apple cinnamon!

Friday morning I decided to fix myself a fruit, yogurt, and granola bowl for breakfast. I combined a diced apple, a serving of grapes, 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt, and half a serving of chocolate granola in a bowl and topped it with cinnamon. YUM!
However, after taking few bites my jaw started to hurt. I mean REALLY hurt. When I chewed, I had pain all the way into my ear! I was NOT a happy camper.
Ninja to the rescue! I was determined to enjoy my breakfast. I threw what was left into a blender cup with about 1/2 cup of milk, and my new favorite smoothie was born!
Honestly, I wasn't sure how the Ninja would handle the apples, but it did an amazingly good job. There were tiny bits of skin, but I don't mind those since I know it's good for me. The smoothie tastes like creamy cinnamon applesauce and is definitely sweet enough even though I made it with unsweetened yogurt.
When I'm just having a smoothie, I like to leave out the granola. It turned out well even with the granola, but in the times I've made this smoothie since, I've left it out. And it's still been delish!
