It's been awhile....

It's been awhile since I did a blog entry. I really feel like such a failure when it comes to my weight loss. We are starting a new health challenge at work today and I'm .6 pounds away from my heaviest weight ever. This is over 30 pounds heavier than I was when I was 9 months pregnant with my youngest daughter. How the #*!! did I let this happen!?!?!?!

My workout partner and I have not been working out for a few weeks and most of the summer was spent cancelling/rescheduling, so consistency has been almost nil. I feel like my eating hasn't been that bad but my weight and the scales are showing differently.

Time to start a plan to get this under control!

1) Drink more water
2) Go to bed earlier
3) More fruits & veggies
4) Decrease all whites (breads, potatoes, sugar, etc.)
5) Move more


This should be a doable start plan!

    Thanks Drink 1 more glass of water each day until I reach 10 or 80 oz./ day. Go to bed an hour earlier 8+ servings fruits/vegetabls Whole grains, sweet potatoes, honey (or other natural sweetener)

    To start again is great - you can do it.

    I suggest you make your plan more definite, eg

    1) How much water will you drink?
    2) What time will you go to bed?
    3) How much fruit & veg will you eat?
    4) How much white bread, potatoes, sugar will you eat? What will you eat instead?
    5) What kind of exercise will you do?
