Time flies when you're having fun! ....in fact it I'm still flying here in October, but I put on my brakes to see that it has been exactly a month since I last blogged, Oops! ...:::I know how much blogging holds me accountable; so, here I go!
So happy to report that I am maintaining my scale losses.....truly, very cool....better than the alternative of gaining so, I'll take it!
Meals are getting cleaner and cleaner....becoming more of a natural habit all the time. Celery & peanut butter is my go to as well as hummus. The produce section of the grocery store is where I spend most of my time shopping. And this amazing fall weather has tempted me to get out there and walk/jog/run...whatever I feel like...I'm out there and having fun with family all the time.
In fact I am outdoors so much so that I have not been online as much as in times past. I log on, track my data, cheer a few Sparkers on, log off and pretty much "live" out the Spark lifestyle. I have found out that "living" it takes place mostly away from my
....and it feels good to regain perspective and balance....really good.
I have given myself some Spark breaks thru a few brief vacations recently....:::in fact I gave myself permission recently to fast from social media...seriously.
And the results were an amazing sense of peace and a refreshing sense of restored balance. I resolve to make this fast a habit added onto my healthy lifestyle. (scratching my head) I kinda wonder why I never thought of this before.... but there's no time like the present to move forward with what works.
Love the cooler breeze, the rustle of leaves and there's just this lovely woodsy smoky scent in the air that draws me out.
I'm taking longer walks with my walking buddy just due to the temps. I am thankful for all of the family visits recently and opportunities to visit them out of town. Currently, our lives are full with all of our schedules as a family(cross country races, music recitals, drivers ed, and tons of homework) Lol! ....but where there's a will, there's a way, right? I always find a way to stay true to healthy choices, keep moving and track it. Will try to blog more...so good to be accountable here, and your support and ideas always prove inspiring.
Time is so precious, and I intend to value every minute I have. These young adults(children) of mine will be grown and on their own sooner than later, and I am glad for these good days we have to hang out and grow closer together. If I don't guard our time, and capture it for my family, the time villains will surely steal away our minutes....Lol!
....::::logging off now to head to the gym (another healthy scheduled thing on my list) ....yes, I am tired, and it's been a long day, but I crave that exercise.
