T-87 Days and Counting

Been up since midnight again, and was up once before that too. This darn cough is wrecking my sleep schedule! But, I have an appointment with the NP on Wednesday and she is very good and will hopefully help me figure something out!

Saw my dietitian Friday and she had me start drinking a shake once a day for any meal (I do breakfast) and taking a multivitamin (I usually take one but forgot to restock and haven't in several month). Her goal right now is to get my calories down and my nutrient intake up to par. She suggested I see an endocrinologist for my cough and everything else that is going on with my neck (enlarged thyroid with a cyst and now a lump on my neck near that). I'm also supposed to be working out 4-6 times a week, just walking and stretching. I still have that darn hernia, so no strength training.

In case you are wondering about the title, I'm on this 90 day program with the dietitian and won't get approval for my surgery till I complete it. So that puts me at mid-January. Then I have to go on a two week liquid diet, that's end of January, if I'm lucky.

Landlord was over to fix up the outside of the house over the weekend. Texted Friday and told us he was coming. I had planned a weekend of relaxing, naps and possibly a face mask and hot bath with tea. But man what a racket did they make! It was very noisy and not at all relaxing, so I spent the weekend cleaning, because what else are you gonna do? Got me into cleaning mode, if ya know what I mean. I just want to get it all clean and now. At 0146 and I was having a hard time not unloading the dishwasher and starting a new load and starting the washing machine and then.... you get my drift. I want to "clean all the things!" LOL! And don't get me started on their kids...

I finally was able to fall asleep at 0400-ish which means I overslept my 0500 alarms. Woke up to my DH's 0530 alarm. *whew* Now to have some coffee, get the kids off to school, DH off to work, and start cleaning! Or if I'm still sleepy, go back to bed for an hour or two! I was up for most of the night.
