Sitting down to eat.

It seems like such a simple thing. And I didn’t think it was a problem until I became conscious of it.
Running around the kitchen, thinking I’ll just have the banana while I’m doing this.
Cooking dinner or getting the kettle boiled and thinking I’ll just have a cookie while I’m doing this.
What a simple instruction that has opened my eyes to a habit I didn’t even realise I have.
Sit down to eat.
So, even if it means sitting on the floor in the kitchen, that’s what I’m doing.
And, interestingly, if I want food but tell myself I have to sit down to eat it, then I’ll decide to not eat it after all!
Thanks to those people who mentioned the nutrient tracker. I had forgotten about that. It is very useful and I needed the reminder.
