Tough, but not impossible.

My parents arrived last Tuesday and it has been a week or so of adjusting to new people with different eating preferences in the house.
It has thrown my eating planning out the window because they are helping with cooking - and I'm appreciating that a lot. It just means I don't have the control I usually do when it comes to preparing meals.
Whilst I haven't been planning my food in advance, my weight has remained steady. THAT number hasn't appeared since my last blog post. And I only have 1kg to go before I reach my goal weight.
My mind is all over the place at the moment, which is not really very good. But, today, before I started my work, I logged what I ate for breakfast, read a few blogs and decided to write one. So, I logged in. That's one good positive step.
I think I can now invest a little bit of energy into focusing on losing that final kilogram. What a wonderful Christmas present that would be.
It's tough. I feel overwhelmed with life most of the time at the moment. But I shall focus on today and doing what I can do today.
I have a lot of writing deadlines for 1 January which have left me momentarily frozen when I look at the screen. It is great my parents are here because they are very willing baby-sitters giving me more time to reach these very important writing goals.
It's tough reaching for new dreams. Very tough. But it's not impossible.
