Dill pickle recipe

Makes 3 large jars Pack small cucumbers in glass jars with 1-2 sprigs dill 1 small slice garlic and a small pinch of alum Boil 2 quarts water, 1 quart apple cider vinegar, and 1 cup pickling salt. When boiling hard pour over cukes and seal jars. Don't overfill. Wipe jars off before putting on lid. Boil jars for 10 minutes Takes a couple weeks to sit before they are done!
