hey guys.... I’ve found a “BELOW 900 CALORIES” diet on internet 2 days back...M sharing it here with the useful links as it claims that it helps to loose weight very fast... ✔️Breakfast: one cup of green tea and three boiled eggs ✔️Lunch: One cup of green tea, one apple and three boiled eggs ✔️Evening: One apple and one cup of green tea (in between you can have sprouts, cucumbers or carrots for meal) ✔️Dinner: One bowl of oatmeal (you can add flaxseed, nuts and fruits for better results) ✔️Night: One cup of green tea one hour before going to bed 🔅🔅🔅🔅🔅🔅🔅🔅🔅🔅🔅🔅

    Please realize that having an abortion 2 months ago, your body is still undergoing a big hormonal change/adjustment, stress, healing, etc. This is all impacting your weight loss. For your health, please do not go below 1200 calories daily---while using a sensible eating plan that includes:
    lowfat dairy foods
    lean meats and protein foods
    vegetables and fruits
    whole grains
    healthy fat sources.

    I am sure you Sparkpeople calorie range is 1200-1550 calories. Do not go lower than the 1200. Also be sure you meet your protein needs of at least 60 grams daily. And at least 20 grams of fiber daily.

    Are you able to do any walking most days of the week.

    Finally, can you share your height.

    Unless you are being monitored very closely by a Registered Dietitian and a Medical team, it can be very dangerous consuming this low in calories. Please re-think your plans and up the calories. Even tho' what you are eating is healthy, this is NOT enough to sustain you on a regular basis. Your body will be missing some very important nutrients at this low level.

    I say this out of concern.

    I hear you. And I understand. I just added you as a sparkfriend. Just be patient. If you go step by step and take it slow, you have so much more chance of being succesfull with losing weight and keeping it off.

    so that i why i am just trying to loose the pregnancy weight i’ve gained... my body’s metabolic rate is very low.... so after going through the reviews of this insane egg diet i thought of giving it a try... thats all 😞

    thank you so much @white-2 for your valuable advice.. i wish you lots of luck and happiness ahead... I was 51 kgs few months back but right now I am 63.. i had an abortion 2 months back...I was pregnant with my first baby

    Thank you. I very well understand that you want to lose weight but it takes time and patience... and to get well informed.
    I was like you when I was younger and I really did seriously mess up my body by eating just 1000 calories per day - so that's why I am trying to help you and prevent other people from creating the same big problems I got.

    @white-2.... thank you for your feedback... I’ll surely search for “The Beck Diet”... the only reason why I started with this diet is because from the last one month I’ve trying so hard to loose weight but haven’t lost even a pound

    900 calories per day means you are starving your body. The response will be that sooner or later your body is going to give you a very, very hard time, driving you to eat more, and more, and GAIN weight. Research 'starvation mode' on internet. Beside you will get very bored and tired of this diet very soon and chance are you will give up and overeat out of frustration.

    The average adult woman needs ***2000*** calories per day. If you really want to lose weight and keep it off you need to research how many calories your body needs just to stay alive (the BMR, basic metabolic rate) and then add at least 200 calories to that and use THAT as a guideline for how many calories to eat. To be on the safe side if you want to lose weight slowly (which is the best, if not the only way to go) and KEEP IT OFF then never go below 1500 calories.

    This is your body, the vehicle that is carrying you through life. You want to be very careful with it as it needs to last preferably 80 to 100 years. You don't want to deprive it of the fuel and nutrients it needs to thrive.
    It is regulated by the brain and scientists have no clue yet as to how it all functions precisely. What IS known is that if you eat a diet very low in calories you will not lose weight permanently and you are messing with the way the brain regulates it's food intake, leading to weight GAIN.

    Sp is the way to do it. You have made a wise choice to use it.

    We find it amazing how great our results can be by following the suggestions of SP. Including the consumption of water. I know I have tried everything for 35 years and it wasn't until I did SP and starting HONESTLY monitoring everything I put in my mouth and drinking 100 OZ of water a day that I got my results started. Even retired I lost 35 lbs in 2017 doing SP and the last 20 lbs will be off next year. It is encouraging to not walk past a window and not feel nauseous as what I saw.
    I have tried everything for 30 years and always yo-yo'd back and forth. Since Jan 1 there has been over 30 lbs lost.
    It all begins someplace and you just started there.

    I don't think this is a healthy way to lose weight. I think your body will go into starvation mode and you won't lose. But you could very well make yourself sick. Quick loss diets don't work long term!
