2017 I'll miss you, but looking forward to 2018

2017 has been a really great year. I started it off with a new job in an old place. In May I decided to get in shape. I bought a FitBit and clocked all my steps. In June I joined the gym and by July I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life teaching others how to become physically well, lose weight, and feel better all the way around. In August I signed up for personal training classes and also got a job at the same gym. I liked working at Food World less and less. I made some plans and dreamed some dreams and gave my notice on November 20. Now I'm looking at more time at the gym, have given up Food World, and am about half way through my certification classes. In 5 days I'll be giving information on the plans I hope will become a new business in the future. I've suffered through a sprained plica and a broken toe. I've run/walked over 1000 miles. I've lost nearly 25 pounds, gained confidence, and had to buy new size 5 jeans today. I call myself a runner because I love it. Shin splints have hounded me, but I'm done with them. I've made new friends, watched my kids and grandson make enormous strides and milestones in life, and made the decision to enjoy Every. Single. Moment. Of life. Good or bad. I turned 40! There's probably a lot I've left out, but Lord knows I'm looking forward to 2018 and am going to miss 2017. Have A Happy New Year everyone!
