Winter 5% Challenge Kick off

Today is emoticon for the Winter 5% Challenge. It's an 8 week challenge to lose 5% of your body weight. I did pretty well in the Fall Challenge. Came within a pound of my goal, so I was very happy with that. That challenge ended at the beginning of December, and while my weight did fluctuate a bit of the holiday's, I'm super happy to report that I'm within a pound of my weight at the finish of the fall challenge. Overall, I only gained a half pound over the Christmas season. That's a pretty sweet emoticon

I've decided not to do resolutions for 2018. I'm going to concentrate on monthly goals and habits. I've started a goal worksheet with my passion planner, but still need to work on it.
I'm sad to say I only have 1 thing for January and that's no starbucks! It's expensive and while I can get drinks that aren't sugary, I tend to get the ones that are... plus the pastries. SO... no starbucks for January.

Tomorrow I start a Walk to 5K program with my local running club. I did this a few years ago to start running, but this time I'm doing it to help me work on my speed. I'm going to train with a faster pace group. That's also an 8 week program, so I guess it coincides with my 5% weight loss challenge too. Fancy.

Alright, well I have PLENTY to do today.

    I like your goals! These 5% Challenges are a great way for getting back on track.. I've been working on getting my Bullet Journal ready for 2018...I'm having way to much fun setting it up haha

    No resolutions here, either. Just a few goals... The main one being to restart my Cardio and water streaks.

    Great job getting back on track! I also skipped resolutions and just decided to work on goals. My Jan goal is get moving more. With it being so cold, it's hard to get out, but I could get moving inside! Dance party with my 3 year old is on the schedule for today.

    Good for you maintaining your 5% challenge loss over the holidays! I was not so well behaved and I am back almost where I started but Like you I am back on track with the new challenge.

    Great way to look at goals....
