Winter 5% Challenge Kick off

for the Winter 5% Challenge. It's an 8 week challenge to lose 5% of your body weight. I did pretty well in the Fall Challenge. Came within a pound of my goal, so I was very happy with that. That challenge ended at the beginning of December, and while my weight did fluctuate a bit of the holiday's, I'm super happy to report that I'm within a pound of my weight at the finish of the fall challenge. Overall, I only gained a half pound over the Christmas season. That's a pretty sweet
I've decided not to do resolutions for 2018. I'm going to concentrate on monthly goals and habits. I've started a goal worksheet with my passion planner, but still need to work on it.
I'm sad to say I only have 1 thing for January and that's no starbucks! It's expensive and while I can get drinks that aren't sugary, I tend to get the ones that are... plus the pastries. SO... no starbucks for January.
Tomorrow I start a Walk to 5K program with my local running club. I did this a few years ago to start running, but this time I'm doing it to help me work on my speed. I'm going to train with a faster pace group. That's also an 8 week program, so I guess it coincides with my 5% weight loss challenge too. Fancy.
Alright, well I have PLENTY to do today.
