Staying the Course

I made it through the holidays sticking with my workout plans. My leg has been holding up to the workouts, and while being on my feet on pavement most of a day is still an unpleasant experience, most days things are slowly improving.
I've just requested my nest "training plan" and while I'm sure it will be a challenge, I'm looking forward to it.
But, my body seems to have gone through the initial "re-gains" from re-starting working out, so it's now time to get back on the tracking my food wagon. Tired of the fat covering my now emerging muscles, so, to help my efforts in the kitchen I also purchased a food scale to ensure my counts are accurate. I still want and need to fuel my workouts, but time to start a serious fat trim!
I want to lose these pounds, and that won't JUST happen in the gym at this point. So back to the tracking so make sure I get where I want to go and STAY there this time.
