Mini Goals/ Rambling

Good Monday Morning fellow Sparkers! Up at 0440, I decided last night not to work out this morning, to wait and see how my back is doing. I re-hurt it taking out the garbage (DH is supposed to do that...) and then last evening was walking to the bathroom and twisted just wrong and pulled something, again. I had to quit doing chores for the rest of the evening and just sit for a while because it hurt so bad. On the bright side I made a beanie hat for my nephew. emoticon

I'm so super excited!! I love this website called Craftsy, basically classes on how to do crafty things, of all kinds! I love the sewing videos and own 3 of them, but saw a sourdough one this weekend and really wanted it. I really want to make a sourdough. So I showed it to DH and we reminisced about the sourdough I ruined, LOL, and he saw it had an Unlimited, monthly or yearly subscription. So he got it for me!! So not only did I crochet last night (have not done so since ... I don't know) I watched how to make a sourdough while I did it! One happy Flea right here, let me tell you!

I watched the coolest youtube channel this weekend! This young lady LOVES the 1950's and most stuff in her house is from that era. So she did a 24 hours living life like a 1950's housewife. It was a hoot to watch and really got me thinking. So yesterday YDD and I got up and got dressed to makeup (just lipstick and a light eyeshadow for her), put on some pretty clothes and some jewelry and sat and relaxed and had tea/coffee before tackling the house. We had a wonderful time at it too! I think getting dolled up in the morning (hair, makeup, jewelry) is wonderful. I don't wear much makeup at all, have not worn base in a very long time. It made me feel better to be up and feeling like I looked good.

Mini Goals!! This week is going to be full of them!

I already decided that this is my final week before I start the Seasonal Scrub of the house (book by Alison May). So I'm going to be unpacking like crazy and trying to get the house in order enough to actually do the Scrub starting next Monday.

I started a 10+ fitness minutes and a water mini goal on here as well I have to get into the habit of walking and need a motivator to do so! Also must be hydrated!

Crocheting! I want to crochet some every day. It's so relaxing and lets out some of my creative energies. I want to sew so bad right now, I have so many projects I want to do!! But that stuff won't come out for a while, so crocheting it is!

And so many more things. They are all small, I am making a list (and checking it twice, LOL) and will check off on it every day so I don't forget.

Oh and if you could not tell, I'm manic right now, so it's kinda unrealistic to do all these things. I'm trying really hard to tone it down, but I want to "Do ALL the THINGS!" For those that don't know, I have bipolar and this is just part of life. It took me years to get to where, when I get manic I pour all my energies into creating/crafting and cleaning.



So hopefully DH will be awake soon so I can get the kids finished getting ready and then go and start getting me ready. Early appointment with my therapist and since I'm letting myself have coffee this week (Not good I know but no excuses, I just wanted coffee), I'm going to stop by that coffee shop and get a latte. It will be my last one, and I'm looking forward to it!

    Your mini goals are perfect! Totally reasonable and do-able. And it's awesome how you are focusing your mania into productive activities. I'm still working on that. You have some great coping skills.
