I'm having a hard time with motivation the last few days. I'm feeling very "eh" for just about anything. work, housework, exercise, eating healthy... really the only thing I look forward to is driving because I'm towards the end of Pride and Prejudice and I'm listening to it on CD. emoticon

I did force myself to go for a run today. It was shorter than I "should" have run, but I consider the fact that I got out there as a real victory. I've eaten healthier today, but that's because I haven't left the house... save for the run. I tend to grab snacks when I'm out running errands. It's a horrible habit that I got from my mom... whom I love dearly! I even told her I struggled with that and she felt real bad and we laughed about it. Anyway.

What do you guys do when you need motivation? Maybe I need to make a "vision" board. Something to actually stare at when I need to see the end goal.

any thoughts and ideas?

I agree sunshine had sure helped me. Also getting to bed earlier. And reaching out, like you did here, to connect with others!

I've been feeling the same way. I need sunshine! I always feel better when it's shining. I'm so ready for Spring and warmer weather. Have a great day! 🌞

Some of the tools ive used include a vision board, picking a reward for the good choices (not scale results) such as a new itunes song for every day I worked out this week or a new song if I hit 3 days or whatever that goal/combo is. Its an extra motivation for me since I love my work out mixes, and I have a long list of songs I want to add. Blogging about what I have going on has helped, feeling the support of others is always good! I can sometimes reframe the snacks while out. Bring a healthy snack or two with you, and the money you don't spend on the snack can be used for a non-food reward? Posting something that is really motivating on the fridge, front and center. Or the cupboard with the snacks. Something that will remind me of my goals and what I am working for. Wishing you all the best!

I recently made a vision board for the first time ever. I created one on Pinterest and loaded it up with positive quotes, images, and goals. I look at it a few times a week to keep me focused. I hope you find something that works for you β˜ΊοΈπŸ’œ
