LOL---that seems to sum up my month of January. I didn't really lose...and I didn't really gain.
I've been encouraged with the results of my exercise: tossed on my 21lb pack today for our 3.5 mile walk and felt fine. I only had about 31 miles for the month though. Yesterday's bike ride was a bit of struggle to do...but I made the 25miles to tally just over 100 for the month. I felt sluggish, tight and sore to start with...was cruising OK in the middle...and feeling tired and slightly beat up when I got home. LOL-- And so it goes...!! Keep doing it, and it will get better.
February will bring more days gone from home than here....so eating and exercise will have to happen without any "routine". This months' focus will be on staying mindful and making good decisions... balanced with enjoying our time doing different things. Snowshoeing to Exploring Mayan ruins and sitting on a beach will make it a VERY good month!! And here's hoping I can make it "a VERY good month" for my health and wellness Journey!!
