Oh That's Intense!

Started the new workout plan and just wrapped up my first full week. Oh, it's intense. Totally kicking my butt, I'm pretty glad it's finally the weekend!
ST days are a bit easier, since I start them with my 30 minutes of cardio then go lift weights for the next ~75 minutes. The muscle endurance days, however, are a bear! I start with a nice 15 minute warmup on the elliptical or stationary bike, then into the ME I go. 90 minutes of almost constant movement, with some heart pumping activities in the mix. Short breaks between the 3 sets for about a minute, then back into it. Killing me, but in a good way!
This next week will be my first round with the Cross-Fit inspired workouts (3 days with an ST focus, 2 days with a cardio focus). All the workouts should take about 2 hours including my warm up and 15min of stretching at the end.
Less than 2 months until race season hits though, and things seem to be holding up, so onward I plunge! The build up to this seems to be paying off as I'm not completely dying, but dang, after my first week, I'm looking forward to a couple days of "rest" away from the gym!
