Healthy, Super Yummy Breakfast Today - Quick and Easy Too

Monday, February 05, 2018

Saturday I made some waffles in my Belgium Waffle Maker. I had several left over. I find to try things I can make with them and not use syrup and butter over them.

I find if I take one of the waffles and cut it in half if it is perfect size to drop into my toaster to heat it up again. I gets quite crispy that way.

Today I spread a little Tahini Paste on top after toasting, sprinkled a tablespoon or two of freshly ground flax seed on top, and then sliced half a banana and added it to the top. Yum! Delicious!

It satisfied me more than any pastry I can think of that I could eat, satisfied the urge to have something crispy and also something sweet. It was a win all around. I wish I had taken a picture of it but will next time I make it which will probably be very soon.

emoticon Thanks for sharing. You are always coming up with such good ideas! Although I don't eat gluten, nor have a waffle maker -there are gluten free options out there that I could do. Glutino (frozen)offers really good options for breads.
Glad you are feeling better! Will write you later. emoticon emoticon emoticon

This makes me want to go out and buy a Belgium Waffle maker. Sounds so very good. I love Tahini paste. I put a banana in my smoothie this morning. Oh boy, it sure made it taste good.

I like you writing blogs again and hope this means you are feeling better. I will be looking for more tips and pictures of your wonderful creations. emoticon
