Pops and fevers
Saturday, February 10, 2018
I went to a great Pops concert last night.
At the start of the concert my cell phone which was silenced was vibrating like crazy.
Took a quick look. My daughter (who was in emergency yesterday)was freaking out. Her temperature was spiking and she felt awful like she was dying. Hard to concentrate on the concert.
After leaving to have a quick chat. I went back to the concert.
My concert mate happened to be a family doctor. She reassured me that the fever ok and that we could stay at the concert. After the concert she briefly examined my daughter. Apparently what she has is hard to diagnose. She said she was ok for the night. She didn’t want to get too involved and I felt a little bad asking a friend to work on her time off.
Anyways. 8 days of a fever. Undiagnosed. And we’ve seen 4 doctors.
The concert was wonderful. A real sound treat. My friend had seasons tickets and she it was one of the best she had been too.
I could appreciate it even though my mind was somewhere else.
Tomorrow I am showing two of my paintings in a juried show.
That will nice I think.
If you are so inclined send prayers for my daughter.
Oh yes. Almost forgot lost another couple of pounds this week.
