It's a great day today. I'm finally getting some energy and I'm so motivated to make my life great. I got a lot of work done on my craft designs this morning which is something I've been struggling with lately. I also feel really good physically and I just have so much energy and I feel so positive that I feel like I can do anything.
Why do I always forget that eating well and exercising makes me feel so wonderful? Don't you think that would be something I would always remember? But it doesn't work out that way. Usually something comes along like Christmas or a vacation and I'm off track for quite a while, sometimes for a long time. I really hope this time that I can remember how to take care of myself even during holidays or birthdays or rainy days, because I never want to go back to feeling as crappy as I did this winter.
Despite the fact that it's only going to be in the 30s all week, I'm trying to continue to go out walking everyday because it definitely helps me feel better and stick to my plan. So far so good. The only day that I haven't gone out walking was Friday, when we got buckets of snow and I had to shovel for literally 2 hours. I figured I didn't need any extra exercise that day.
Yesterday was interesting because I got a lot of exercise but I wasn't very hungry. I ended up eating a lot less than I usually do but I wasn't hungry so why eat if you're not hungry? I'm thinking that ketosis is kicking in and helping me to feel full longer. I'm totally cool with that.
Well, that's all for today. I have a lot of chores to do yet so I'd better get off my butt and get them done.
