My March goal is March out of my rut:
Yesterday my son made home made chili. I swear it will take us all week to eat it all. He told me it's cheap, easy to make, ... I told him I am not a huge soup fan. His GF make soup a lot so he is getting into it. When I was growing up, mom made Campbell soup daily during our summer break and soup start soups during the winter. I have 2 brothers. One brother is like me and is not a soup fan and remembers soup daily. My other brother and mom doesn't remember serving any soup-hum! Anyhow the chili was good. I did notice that it didn't fill either of us up that much which is my main dislike about soups. To me it's not cheaper or healthier when we both ate 2 cupcakes, popcorn, and ? later trying to get full!
The house my son lives in has 5 people in so they all take turns cooking one meal for everyone a week. The other meals they are on their own. Thur night is my son's night. He made a salad with pasta, cheese, beans, corn, ? in it and brought it home. No meat. It was really good.
My ? was we had was the Gelato. I found it to taste just like ice cream. I was disappointed it tasted so much like ice cream and it was so expensive!
My car saga...
My son started it up, pumped the breaks, etc finally found a tiny bit leaking from a back tire. He discover both of my brothers were up at my dad's. So he drove my car up there. One brother drove him back here. He goggled and thinks he found what the issue is. The parts will come on Monday. He thinks it is the same thing that was wrong with his car a year plus ago which was a easy fix.
