Well, I sent my Garmin watch back last week. Fingers crossed that it gets there safely and I get my replacement soon. I miss having my watch. It's funny how used you get to wearing it, and how much you can come to depend on it to tell you how active you've been. I've been trying to do something active every day, but it's hard with all the snow we've had. Yesterday we decided to go for a hike, yes in the snow. It was really nice, actually. We bundled up really well and put on our heavy winter boots and went out to our favorite trail. The sun was shining so it was a lovely day. Walking in snow is really different though. It's like walking in sand, so it was a really good workout. By the time we finished the loop, we were so hot we were stripping off our parkas. I want to go again today, but we might be too busy 🙁 I didn't lose any weight this week, but I'm trying not to worry about it. I feel amazing, and that's more important than anything else!

    Winter hiking is tricky that way - you sweat, so you want to take off the layers but then if you take off too much and get a chill, it makes you sick.
