So next was the Christmas treasure hunt.

Friday, March 23, 2018

Sorry, i meant to post quicker after catching you all up on the PJ hunt Christmas eve but to be honest, I have been a bit depressed. As I shared with you all, my DH was diagnosed with colon cancer in January and we are now having to go through Chemo for six months. We got through the first treatment just fine. He had the pack around his waist for the 46 hours and then the nurse came to the house and unhooked him. So he is supposed to go every other week but for the last two weeks his white blood cells have been too low to be treated so we were both disappointed as we just want it over. So far he is handling it the best he can. he is already losing his hair and bought a clipper to just give himself a buzz cut. I reminded him how handsome his dad was with his bald head. Anyway it's been very depressing as any of you who have or have had a love one go through chemo.
But we will continue to try and remain strong and positive.

On that note, i will change the subject and tell you about the treasure hunt i did for the Christmas Dad treasure hunt. Then i will catch you all up on Valentine's decorations as well as the Easter decorations i just did that seemed funny with all the snow outside.

The treasure hunt was a success. Hope you all are having a great day!
Hugs
Sallie
