So the title really does tell all lol
This week has been a busy one. For the last several months, including my time home with the bambino, we have been struggling financially. Just a few weeks before we had our son, my husband lost his job and I have been off of work due to family obligations, a difficult pregnancy and being a full time student (not to mention a full time Mama to my other 2 minions who are 9 & 11)
So hubby and I have been interviewing like crazy. I have another interview tomorrow and I also have one more scheduled for later this week.
I am a personal trainer by trade and I have spent the last several years on the business side of the fitness industry running a gym and nutrition program before going on a leave of absence from my career after an injury and then pregnancy!
So, as you can imagine, I’m nowhere near where I used to be physically.
This is where the Turbofire comes in...
I began that program full throttle yesterday. I woke up as sore as I could be and I attempted workout #2 only to end it early, frustrated that my endurance is nowhere near where it used to be.
But as my husband says, it would be weird If it was! My baby is 8 weeks old. I need to be kinder to myself.
Speaking of kind...all animals can rejoice because i am avoiding them.
This was a longtime coming decision. I have more energy and function better on a vegetarian diet. Always have.
Before you say anything about protein sources, please be rest assured that my degree is in nutrition science and I am tracking and intaking enough protein and I’m quite proud of my intake.
I need to keep my eyes fixed on the prize and be patient. Results will come in time. If they attached properly, my starting photos should be below.
Wish me luck!
