Monday - When The Diet is For Real

So here we are, it's Monday at last. The day when my diet goes for real. At least that is always the game plan. "I'll start Monday" "Monday the diet is for real" Have you ever said anything like that? That is what I'm always saying.

Of course this Monday feels like an extended weekend for me. My husband left for a business trip yesterday. I'm spending a lot of time with friends. That means eating whatever they cook for dinner. How can I low carb when I'm not in control of what's for dinner? I am going to have to figure it out.

Because its Monday and I mean it this time.

    I hear you. Doing a 'first day' again today myself.

    Meat and veggies will be moderately low carb most of the time, so just skip the potatoes and bread. It may not be perfect, but one meal is not a huge deal. Just do what you can.
