My 1:st month in review

Today is a month since I buckled down and get started and focused on me myself and I .
What Did I do different this time?
I thought about it, I planned it, I thought about it some more for about 2 to 3 weeks prior to getting started. I reset my SparkPeople page and I started from the beginning. I did the smart goals I did the schedule of walking and I went to the grocery store!
I have to say it has gone way past my expectations!
I have not had a soda in a month.
I have not had a fast food meal in a month.
And i have not missed it!
What I have gotten is good tasting home cooked food that are copycat recipes of my favorite restaurants! So I’m NOT on a diet.
I am not hard on myself if I happen to eat a little bit more on certain days, and I’m not disappointed with myself if I choose to not walk on one day and instead change it until the next day. I have given myself more flexibility to succeed in the long run and not staring myself crazy at the scale every week.
So how have I done for the past month?
The scale today showed that I am down 11 pounds! emoticon
11 pounds in a month!
