How 1636 calories in a day can leave you feeling hungry

Today was a crash course in how important it is to eat your calories divided over several meals!
Went to brunch so I skipped breakfast except my coffee...... ate about 900 calories during brunch, made pretty good choices but it adds up quick. ( I might have overestimated some calories, but not by much). So far so good, right? I figured I be ok going for coffee with my mom and sister and still have enough for a light dinner. Told my sister I didn’t want any cake, just coffe but don’t you know she came back with the carrot cake..... never in a million years would I think it contained over 400 calories! And my latte was abt 200.
Puts it in perspective..... 900 at brunch was egg, bacon, pancake, ,croissant and some taster tots! Well spent calories.... and then 600on coffee and cake. Now I’m sitting here hungry as hell but feel like I have to pay the price for poor choice!
What would you do? Go over and eat something?
