So here I am right before surgery, before I started the two week liquid diet, 14 days till surgery:
And now here I am, one month after surgery, 36 pounds down. Same shirt, but the shorts are 2 sizes smaller.
To be honest, the shirt is now too big and hangs off of me, making me look bigger than I am. The shorts are an 18W, the rest of the 18's I have are regular and don't fit just yet. They will button, but I'm squished. In the original pic I'm wearing size 22W.
Talked to the dog trainer, O, and she says she has the dog picked out and will send me a pic in a few days. I'm nervous about training my own service dog, but with O's help, I think I can do it. I can't wait to meet my puppy! I meet her in 3 weeks!
Next Friday is my follow up with my bariatric surgeon to see if I can progress to the next diet and exercise level. I can't wait to start on exercising my core, and yes, I will take it easy.
My dear friend, S, is moving several states away. I will miss her greatly and don't really know what I'm going to do without her.
Took Pickles (family dog, half beagle/corgi) to the vet and she could not find anything wrong with his joints, but he did have a corn on his foot pad. So she took that off, wrapped it up and gave me some meds for it. Said to see how he is doing in two weeks. I know corns can be painful, so hopefully that is all.
