Day 14: Pulling a Double

Pulling a double workout, that is!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Today’s workouts included Jamie Eason’s LiveFit Back & Biceps, and then a 4-mile run. Rocking this Monday!!

Today was kind of a crazy day, but I am determined to stay on track this week. I am leaving to go out of town on Thursday evening, and want to throw in some extra workouts before I go.

Nutrition:
Pre- and Post-Workout - Coffee with almond milk and protein powder, sweetened with Pyure. A small bite of a banana post workout.

Breakfast -
Quinoa Porridge with peaches, almond milk, protein powder, cinnamon, & sweetened with Swerve. YUM!


Morning snack:
Coffee like my pre-run coffee

Lunch:
Super food smoothie - Almond Milk, protein powder, raw cacao powder, PBFit, superfood blend, chia seeds, and sweetened with Pyure.
Small piece of zucchini bread


Afternoon snack:
Toast with avocado and sliced turkey (uncured)
Coffee

Dinner:
100 g grilled chicken, about 1 slice of bacon, 1/4 cup rice, and 100g green beans with a dab of butter.


Great meals! My calories were a little high (1800 calories), but if I burned 500 calories between my 2 workouts today, I think I’m good! Also drank plenty of fluids today... At least 70 oz.

All in all, it was a good day. Gearing up for another double workout session tomorrow, running, then a tough leg workout! Bring it, Tuesday, BRING IT! emoticon
