I'm not going to lie, I'm struggling.

I have been trying to do positive self talk when the scale number sucks or when I think I did good on a meal, then I track it and it was a 800 calorie lunch that I wasn't expecting.

I also have the struggle about where I live where I don't always have internet service, so tracking on the weekends when I am not in town, has also been an issue.

I have read some very inspiring postings about similar issues, so that helps that I am not alone. I believe I'm in a better place and more motivated to do better for myself and health than in years past. I feel that I have better tools to better cope with issues than I did in the past as well.

I hope I can continue the path I am on and go uphill.

    There's always going to be obstacles along the way but we need to stay focused and improvise when necessary. If you're doing the work and the scale doesn't agree.. take measurements. When you overeat on cals, track before making food choices. No internet, track on paper and add the numbers when you get internet. Nothing is black and white, but where there's a will... there's always a way. Best wishes.
