My daughter and I have been on this lifestyle, as of today, 20 days. I have notice a major change in her as well as myself. We both are smiling more. We're in such a better mood we are no longer really grumpy. We both have more energy. My daughter has been waking up earlier she's not sleeping until mid afternoon anymore.
I'm so proud of my daughter! She has found recipes that she has been playing around with made some coconut chewy chocolate chip cookies and some pb cookies. We take one after we have lunch and that is pretty much all the sweets we have for the day.
Yesterday she took a pinch of the sugar free dark chocolate chips we have, then decided to try a semi- sweet chocolate chip. She told me they were disgusting to her.
Being away from sugar for 3 weeks can change our taste buds. I know, for myself, that the cravings for sugary sweets has pretty much gone away. I have my version of bpc in the morning and also a get one fat bomb and that tides me over until lunch.
Keeping this blog has helped me through some of the tough times of when I'm struggling to get through things. Thank you all for your words of wisdom and positive thoughts.
