Weather can be nice or nasty

Friday, July 20, 2018

I checked the weather forecast a couple of hours ago trying to figure out my weekend. It showed 90% chance of rain tomorrow with high temperature of 74 degrees which is way cooler than it has been for quite some time. So, I decide to make plans to get my nephew so that we can hang out this weekend. Then, I get an e-mail about the local fair, so I decided we would do that tonight. I went back to check forecast to make sure no rain tonight and low and behold...it's changed...there is no rain in the forecast for the weekend at all. WEIRD! I can't imagine what happened that that quickly.

On the plus side, I'm glad it won't be raining---in a way---we really need it, though so it would be nice if we could have a nice little shower during the night, while sleeping. Ahhh...wouldn't it be nice if we could just order up the weather to whatever we want. God has a bigger plan for us that we will never understand while on this Earth. I'm OK with that but it's nice to imagine.

Please keep the victims to the South of me who were caught in a terrible storm that appeared suddenly and claimed several lives, injured others and caused damage to a community. In Branson, Missouri there is a popular attraction that has been going for 40+ years. It's called "Ride the Ducks" and is a land/water tour in an amphibious vehicle. This particular vehicle was on the lake when the storm rolled in and was unable to make it to shore before capsizing. So, so very sad!!!

I wish you all the happiest of days ahead!

Sending prayers to all those affected by the storm.

Oh to be a weather analyzer--the only job you can get wrong every single day and still have a job to come back to. Enjoy your weekend.

Wow every time we went to Branson we rode that and still have the duck bills. That news hasn’t been broadcasted here. So sad.
    Enjoy your nephew time

I didn't hear about the storms in Branson. I hope there were no lives lost. I've ridden "The Ducks" many times in Wisconsin Dells.

A fair and time with your nephew. Sounds like you have nice plans.
