I felt the need to get this off my chest today because it has really been bothering me. I was on keto for a few months. I lost about 20lbs, but because of the way I ate on the diet, I felt tired and really disgusting all the time. So I decided that keto just wasn't the lifestyle for me if I was going to be miserable all the time. I started eating whole grains again and it seems like instantly I gained every pound lost plus some. I was told that around 10 lbs of it was probably water retention from the increase of carbs. To all those out there that can live without all the bread and pasta and come out just fine with tons of energy that is amazing! I just wasn't one of those people. Though it did work, it ultimately let me down by adding more weight to my body which has enraged me this morning to the point of tears and a really negative view of myself and my body. I am really trying to be more positive, it just isn't working for me today. just mad ramblings to try to lighten my mood feel free to ignore completely LOL
