I’ve struggled since I was about 12 with my weight because that’s when I started to see my health being affected by it. I’ve been dedicated to weight loss—on and off, at least— for quite some time.
However, this year, things spiraled. A condition I was born with came back to haunt me, neurologically speaking, and I ended up having several brain surgeries. I nearly went blind, as well. It was all really sudden, but of course, the weight gain had been creeping up for years.
I’ve been told that if I can drop my weight significantly, it will lessen the problems I’ve been facing with my brain. 🧠 Like I said, this problem didn’t start overnight, so it won’t go away overnight. I hope I can find support and people to help hold me accountable— I’m not too good at all of this, but it’s time for me to learn!
