My Life as a Dawg, Bravery
Thursday, August 16, 2018
I did something very brave today, Sparkers. I bought a two-piece swim suit.
Actually, I bought two.
I bought a black bottom that adequately covers my posterior. I bought a top that covers my tummy. And I bought a bikini.
What was I thinking?
My tummy hasn't been exposed in at least 20 years.
My sister was with me in the dressing room. She told me they looked good. I know she wouldn't lie to me.
These are the suits. I do not look like the model. I'm stating the obvious. You already know that.
I still have "the baby". (That's the belly roll that comes out when I go over scream weight.)
But you know what? I've been looking at the women at the beach, and not the sweet, young women. I've been looking at the older women. And plenty of them wear two piece suits and they look fine. A lot of times, I admire their soft, rounded figures. If they can do it, so can I.
We are going down the shore tonight to have dinner with my niece and her girlfriend. We're staying the night at their house and we'll go to the beach with them tomorrow.. I'll bring my one piece, and both two piece suits.
We'll see how brave I am tomorrow.
