Hello, Sparkies!

Boy, do I even know anybody on here anymore?! It's been AGES. My life is so different than it was just a couple of years ago, I can hardly even believe it.

So, lovely friends, I have TWO babies now! Well, I suppose technically I have two toddlers, since the baby just turned 1. That makes my son 3.5. Where the heck does the time go?!

(No, I don't know why we keep making that face. LOL)

These kiddos are amazing. I love them to pieces, but I can't believe what two pregnancies has done to all the hard work I did a few years back. With both I somehow managed only completely acceptable 25-30 lb weight gains and lost nearly all of it by about 3 weeks postpartum. But I have gotten sloppy with sugar and portion sizes in my permanent state of exhaustion, So here I am 25 pounds overweight again! And nothing will ever be in its right place again!

Some I don't give a hoot because I GREW two human beings, dang it!

Other days I'm really bummed and disappointed in myself -- like today, when these particular clothes I am wearing are frumpy and show ALL the flab and I'm hiding under a sweater.

I know how to do this. I've lost 70 pounds before! But I also had waaaaaaaaaay more free time and flexibility then.

So I guess I need to get back to the days where I just own it and somehow find the Herculean strength to at least eat less and take some freakin' stairs. Because crying doesn't burn any calories and excuses won't get me anywhere!

How the heck do you other Supermoms do it?!?! I'll take any and all tips with the utmost gratitude!

    So wonderful to see you!!!!! You look wonderful and are doubly blessed now! They are adorable! I only had one kid and he was a very good baby so I had it fairly easy. I weighed less after I had him than I weighed before pregnancy. Didn't gain hardly any weight and he weighed 4.7 ounces. I weighed 120 before pregnancy and 115 after. But, like you said, things are never like they were before and after menopause I packed it on. I am doing better but still struggle from time to time. Just take it a day at a time. Luv ya!!!

    Woo hoo! You’re BACK! With double the joy!

    Here’s my good news (with a caveat wrapped up inside): I am hovering around my all-time low weight with next to no time spent on exercise. So you CAN lose AND maintain with little exercise muss & fuss.

    The kicker is: it sucks to feel weak and outta shape.

    But it really doesn’t take much to carve healthy food choices to accomplish significant weight loss and maintenance.

    Kudos to the life and LIVES you are creating! :-)
