Is More Fat in my diet the answer to my digestive issues? I’ve been eating a really high protein/low fat diet for quite some time now. My stomach was getting knots in it that hurt after I ate a meal. It was getting to the point that I wasn’t enjoying wedding receptions, get togethers, etc.
I saw these bars at the store & remembered that they somehow seemed to help my stomach. I bought the high fat low carb coconut almond bars and after just one bar, I felt much better and thought, hmmmmm - those are basically all fat, coconut. I also bought a good probiotic and have added that too. Since then, I’ve been cutting back on the amount of protein (still trying to eat some with every meal, just less) and having more veggies and more fats in my diet. I also added soaked chia seeds in my smoothies and a fiber one bar or really dark chocolate each day, and wait for it.... full fat icecream at night! Fit into my calorie count of course and the scale has gone down and my gut feels SO much better! I haven’t had an issue with it all week which is very rare for me!
