Creature of Habit??

I have been working out with a trainer once a week for the past few months and attending a pilates reformer class up to three times a week on some weeks. These are GREAT except, I totally still over eat. it's a deadly combination my too-big portion sizes and lack of planning (and tracking). Why can't I seem to get a permanent grip on this aspect of my life?
I would really love to hear from you if you have mastered portion control, planning, and honest tracking.

    I portion control every single day. It's what I have to do to keep the success I've achieved and to continue on my journey. It's a necessary tool as opposed to "mastery". I also honestly track everything I eat and drink. I get the same message whether I'm 1 calorie over or 1000 calories over - that I simply consumed too much. Promised myself I'd never lie about what I ate and that I'd always track it. I'm the only one that sees it.

    Here's to you figuring out what works best for you.

    I have been here since 2010. I still weigh and measure and track. That's what helps me. Helps me be accountable and aware.

    Dish up smaller portions and when you finish, wait for 10 mins.. if you are still hungry drink some water and if you really, really want more food, get half of what you think you want. Your "eye" will adjust over time.
