I'm Blessed

Tuesday, October 16, 2018

My life has been very busy. We were able to enjoy a family vacation to Maine a couple weeks ago. It was absolutely beautiful. The leaves were in their prime colors changing into vibrant fall. We hiked everyday and my body is now paying for it. My Plantar Fasciitis is flared up with avengeance. I'm trying different kinds of treatment but nothing seems to be working. Hopefully, rest will help it calm down.

I hope that everyone is having a great day!

Looking back at your blogs. Oh I am so jealous. Maine is so beautiful. I have plantar fascitis too. Have you discovered Vionics shoes? They have built in arch support. I have narrow feet so most of the styles don't fit me, but the few that do are great, especially the walking shoes.

Hugs to you on that wonderful family vacation! Boooo on the foot problems. Don had a heck of a time and finally went to a doctor they called the 'foot whisperer' he gave hubby a series of stretches to do and told him to never go barefoot in the house. He got a pair of sandals called OOFOS that are like walking on marshmallos...he did his stretches faithfully and uses orthotics in his shoes...knock wood...seems to be better with no pain.

I am glad you enjoyed your vacation to Maine; I can just imagine the vivid colors.
Seems like we are in the same boat; I thought mine (plantar fasciitis) was a thing of the past until
this last week. Both feet … stabbing pain at times; know I have been on them too much, so need to back off. Rest does help as a rule and stretching. Hope yours subsides quickly...
