Oh my gosh! Down another four pounds! From 193 to 189!!! So close to my goal of 185, where I was at over 7 years ago!! I can't wait to reach it! My next goal after that is 150, so I think I need to come up with a mini goal in between those.

What I really need to work on is working out more and strength training. I'm not doing so well at that. It's mostly been the surgery and watching what I eat. Without working out though, I'm losing muscle mass, and I really want to be toning and shaping so that when the time finally comes, I can have skin surgery. Plus, once upon a time when I was in shape, I was considered "strong for a girl." I want to be that again!

I finally found a protein shake that I really like. First taste was kinda bleh. Talk about artificial sweeteners! I had gone back to using a spoon of real sugar in my coffee (not good!) so was not expecting it to be so overwhelming! But I made it to the end of my first cup and really liked it. Today, I really enjoyed my Cafe Bella protein shake in my coffee. Yum. Gives me a latte like flavor and my protein all at once, love it! I also have a very refreshing cherry shake that is light and is great for after workouts.

Going to measure today, will post that on Monday, I just got out of the shower though, so gotta wait to measure. NSV: My wedding ring fits! I was about 5 months pregnant with my first when we got married, so that should tell you how swollen I was!! But I'm loving being able to wear a ring again! We had bought cheap replacement rings, but they were really wide and uncomfortable to wear.

My size 16 jeans are starting to feel a little more loose, as well! I'm to the moon over all this! It's difficult to comprehend why it took me so long to realize that I could still have good food, just not the same foods as I was having before. No soda's in over a year now! Do I miss them? Yes, but only one, Sundrop, my favorite soda of all time. I am having caffeine again in the forms of unsweet tea with lemon and coffee. They tell you not to have caffeine, but I don't have much, as hydrating is so much more important. I don't have sugary drinks either. I've cut out most carbs, though not all, and I do have them on occasion. Yesterday I had a thing of rice. But normally not many carbs at all.

I went to a Korean market for the first time yesterday!! It was awesome! Not many of the workers were willing to help us with questions, but a few were. I'm going to make some Jajangmyeon (udon noodles with black bean sauce and veggies), I could not find it on the menu at the places to eat in the store, so I settled on Yakisoba and an onigiri filled with kimchi and pork. But I was fortunate enough to sit next to a couple that were friendly and asked what it was I had been looking for, I told them and the guy was actually eating it! He told me it was very salty and to pair it with something sweet. Then he showed me which place sold it and where it was on the menu. I'm not really supposed to have noodles but for this I will make an exception!

Well, off to figure out what I'm going to have for lunch. After yesterday's onigiri, I don't think much will sound as appetizing! I've never had kimchi before, but it was SO good!
